People might respond that it is the first of
ten commandments, but that's not it. Let's go
to the videotape, please (rewind).
In the beginning (Genesis) God's first law was:
"Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed,
which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree,
in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed;
to you it shall be for food."
Go ahead. Say a prayer. Ask God for a favor when
you really need one. Then ask yourself a question.
Why should God listen to you if you have ignored
his first rule?
